I've been to Hat Yai, a city in Thailand near the Malaysian border when I was at the age of 14 or 15. I don't remember. It was a big family trip, we drove all the way to Kedah from Kuala Lumpur, explored the beautiful small town before heading to Hatyai by bus. It was a wonderful trip.
The next city I wish to visit in Thailand is --- Bangkok!

ShoppingPeople would say you won't leave Bangkok without shopping. Most of my friends came back with almost one full luggage of clothing, junk food and miscellaneous. Platinum Fashion Mall in Pratunam is popular for budget shopping. Besides, there are many luxury malls such as Siam Paragon, EmQuartier, Central Embassy, and Emporium.
Massage & Spa
This is a must-do-thing after a long day. Get a cheap foot massage or enjoy a traditional Thai body massage.
Cafe Hopping
In addition, there are so many new themed cafes in Bangkok. Would check out the most popular cafe area, Thonglor and Ari.
Tuk-Tuk Ride
The iconic three-wheeled vehicle was the main mode of transport in the past. Tips: They do not have meters, need to bargain with the drivers on the price. Can't wait to explore another city/place!
